I have quite a few blog posts to catch up on so you might see an update here more than once a week. Gasp! Blogging twice in one week? Sounds scary! Ha! Actually it will be awesome because I have so many great shoots to share with you. This shoot has become one of my new favorites for sure. When Bill contacted me he told me he wanted to schedule a session for his Belgian and German Sheperds, Johnny and June. Of course I assumed they were named after the famous Johnny and June so I asked Bill and he confirmed that “they are fans of the Cashes.” I pretty much knew from that moment that this shoot was going to be awesome.
Johnny and June are both rescues and Johnny was adopted last year at Austin German Sheperd Rescue. They were a dream to photograph and I was thrilled that there were so many options for different kinds of shots at their home. Another major thing that made this shoot awesome was Johnny and June’s dad, Bill. A lot of the guys I photograph are a bit nervous and/or not really into the whole photo session thing… since their ladies usually set it all up (guys you know what I’m saying). Bill on the other hand was just calm, easy going and really seemed to be enjoying the whole process. It made for a seriously awesome shoot. Thank you Johnny, June and Bill for a wonderful session.
