Well, it’s officially summer in Texas. Goodbye lovely spring and hello to 100 degree days. I’ve had quite a few questions about portrait sessions and the Texas heat. Even though it’s crazy hot outside it’s still a wonderful time to have portraits done of you and your fur babies. I always schedule sessions in the early morning or late day when the light is at its best and the heat is subdued. Quite often we can shoot indoors, utilizing lovely natural light and your pet’s comfortable surroundings. So, please don’t postpone a session for the Fall that we can shoot in the summer months… especially since my Fall is already getting booked up! Now on to Buster and Boomerang’s family session…
I donated a portrait session to help raise money for Austin Pets Alive earlier this year. The winner of that session was so thrilled and excited to win but he knew the session would benefit his dear friends much more. Buster is the handsome 10 year old boy of Stella and Sonemaly and he was recently diagnosed with cancer. So, the session was given to Stella and Sonemaly to capture their lovely Buster and his sweet brother Boomerang. I adore this family and my heart goes out to them.
Buster is a true gentleman.
Boomerang is a sweet and fun-loving boy.
