If you haven’t heard yet, let me be the first to tell you that Austin has a new dog magazine. The HauteDog Wet Nose Culture premier issue was released in early October. This magazine is not only informative, resourceful and educational, but it’s also a whole lot of fun! The publisher, Susan Patton, wants HauteDog “to increase the awareness of local service and retail options to as many canine owners as possible, and support the rescue community as well.” Sounds pretty awesome, huh? The next issue of HauteDog will be the Holiday issue and it will be available in December. Can’t wait!!! Be sure to subscribe today because your subscription dollars help local non-profit animal community by providing them a venue for advertising and to raise awareness for their causes. Oh and last but certainly not least, lets not forget why we are reading this on my little old blog – I shot the awesome cover and some great images for the interior.
Our cover model, Holly, is a very sweet and gentle rescue (from Austin Dog Rescue) who recently found her forever home. She was a joy to work with and I couldn’t be happier with how the image turned out. I also shot three images (top right, bottom left/right) for the “Dog About Towne” page on the interior. My very own Ella and dear husband got to show off their Frisbee skills. Go Ella Go!!
